The Inciteful Analytics Corporation was formed in 2004 by its founder and owner, Rhonda Petty. With over twenty years experience in data analysis, customer segmentation and forecasting, Rhonda brings a passion for insight generation through the mining of consumer data. Prior to founding Inciteful Analytics, Rhonda was employed by SABRE Decision Technologies and Targetbase Marketing where she developed analytically-based solutions in the area of Customer Relationship Management for Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries.
Rhonda holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Louisiana State University. Immediately following her graduation in 1988, she accepted a lucrative position as an Operations Research Analyst for American Airlines. In the ten years she worked for American and its SABRE affiliate, she specialized in the development and implementation of forecasting and optimization algorithms for Revenue/Yield Management. The solutions she developed with her other teammates power the intelligence used by several airlines throughout the world in their day-to-day operations surrounding the control of seat inventory and reservations. Rhonda not only specified the analytical algorithms controlling the logic within their Decision Support Systems, but worked closely with technical coders, database specialists and interface designers to insure analytic results were presented to end-users in the most effective manner.
Toward the end of Rhonda's ten-year tenure with SABRE, she began to apply her knowledge of forecasting and data analysis toward the development of Customer Relationship Management solutions. Rhonda's first major accomplishment in this area involved the design and development of a comprehensive customer segmentation solution for one of America's top US retail banks---this solution spanned 10 different product areas and incorporated transactional behavior across multiple banking channels. This work, performed during the mid-90s, was one of the first of its kind and a highly sought after topic in the marketing community.
Following her tenure with SABRE, Rhonda decided to continue in the area of Customer Relationship Management, accepting a leadership position within the analytical department of Targetbase Marketing. While at Targetbase, Rhonda stayed true to her love for data mining often taking on clients very rich with transactional data. During this era of her professional life, she gained a broader perspective of the challenges marketers face, refining her approach to customer segmentation and performance measurement. Clients in retail, consumer durables, pharmaceuticals, travel and entertainment and consumer packaged goods are among the types of industries for which Rhonda developed solutions.
Today, with the venture of Inciteful Analytics, Rhonda and her business associates continue to bring consumer insight to corporations rich with data.
